Inspired by meeting someone who will be turning 30 on the day the world is supposed to end
The traveler girl gets a tattoo on her neck of 2012
and by sunrise on December 22 of that year
the Apocalypse
still has not happened
The tattoo, however, will remain
She has only 9 days left
to do something worthy of this skin-art
commemoration
as the rest of her life has been spent
anticipating the paradigm shift
So what should she do?

she should get it removed. Unless it's one of those cool Maori warrior ones that if you turn it to the side has a mayan glyph for 2012. Those are O.K.
she should stop sitting in front of me in biology so i don't have to contemplate her calendar conundrum every day.
She should expand the 2012 tattoo to include a massive scene of destruction that stretches all the way across her back, with flooding and destroyed buildings and fires and earthquakes. Then she can tattoo the director's name on her ass.
